EGLO – Packaging for a hidden champion

Neuherz has been taking care of the processes around packaging for many years and likes to impress with speed, reliability, experience and a know-how that should not be underestimated. The type of print products range from packaging, folding boxes to manuals. Of course, the processes are informed by the specifications of the CD and CI.
Objective

EGLO is a hidden champion – a world market leader – from Austria. Headquartered in Pill in Tyrol, which is located in the Lower Inn Valley midway between Innsbruck and Kufstein, EGLO is the world’s largest manufacturer of decorative lamps.

EGLO products are sold under countless brands and product names in many DIY chains. In order to be successful with this, a sophisticated logistics chain is required, not only because of the physical distribution of the products but also because of the packaging.

Neuherz takes over the design and customization process of the packaging and other print products for EGLO. In doing so, Neuherz makes full use of its strengths – speed, reliability, experience, know-how and the synergies of the two locations in Vienna and Bratislava.
Customer benefits

Neuherz is digitally integrated into the packaging process, which deals with the design and adaptation of packaging, folding boxes, manuals and handbooks. Based on guidelines provided by EGLO product management, Neuherz adapts the packaging and manuals to the respective brands and languages. The designed print products then undergo a multi-stage feedback and approval process.

Over 500 artworks are created each year in several adaptations.
Technologie

The “real” technologies in packaging are the experience and flexibility of the agency. Packaging is not a question of computer technology, but a question of optimized processes on various levels that enable industrial just-in-time production.

Neuherz works with internationally active companies such as EGLO and Henkel, as well as with companies from the SME sector. This is where Neuherz’s workflow tools come into play, because they offer customers who are just starting out in internationalization and do not yet have the experience and detailed processes to establish a cleanly designed work process. This not only saves time, but also costs and nerves.
